The Canadian Armed Forces Ombudsman describes itself as working to ensure that the Department of National Defence (DND) and the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) are fair in treating serving and former CAF members, DND employees, Cadets, family members, and others. The office seeks to protect their access to the programs, services, and resources that can contribute to their well-being. In addition, we study and recommend ways to make these programs better.
